TEXASS Exhibition – Trenggalek, November 25–26, 2023

At the end of 2023, a community from Trenggalek held a sound system parade called TEXASS (Trenggalek Expo Audio & Sound System). This event is an annual tradition that has been running since 2016. The parade took place on November 25–26, 2023. The exhibition was also enlivened by several other sponsors showcasing their product demos.

This year’s parade featured two competition categories: clarity assessment and SPL measurement. There were also two competition classes based on the number of speakers used. Over the course of two days, approximately 50 rentals/participants joined the competition. On the final day, the committee presented a challenge: knock over a ¼-filled mineral water bottle within one minute using a song. Participants came up with various strategies—adjusting system management, choosing the right song, and more.

Event & Bazaar

This time, the ACR booth presented a slightly different concept by showcasing a custom 4-way sound system box, fully equipped with ACR series driver components. For the subwoofer, they used a double 18” horn-loaded "Keong" box with the 18in Fabulous 113186. For the low section, a planar single 15” box using the 15in Fabulous 100152. For the midrange, the 12in Fabulous 75125 was used, and finally, the tweeter used was the Fabulous CD 650TR15B-08F Fab. All these custom box systems were powered by Rhyme amplifiers—specifically a combination of the R4500 and Rhyme R7000 for the subwoofers.

The booth also offered a demo session for the 4-way ACR Series sound system. Many visitors showed great enthusiasm as they witnessed and listened firsthand to the sound quality and design of the custom speaker boxes.
