Sound System Exhibition – PSSJ Jombang on May 18–19, 2024

In 2024, PSSJ – Jombang held its annual Sound System Parade, with this year marking the 3rd edition of the event. The parade took place at the village field of Banjarsari, Jombang, on May 18–19, 2024.

The event featured several competitions, including categories for live mixing and sound battle (SPL Competition). The live mixing material was prepared by the committee and featured dangdut music with a total of 12 channels. This segment aimed to assess the skills of audio operators in handling all musical instruments. During the event, the team also sponsored the competition by awarding prizes such as the 18in PA-100182 Mk3 SW Fab, 18in 18710 DLX, and 15in 381006 Desibel.

Exhibition & Bazaar

At the ACR booth, a custom damphoed (paraflex) box equipped with the 18in 113188 SW Fab driver was showcased. This setup was accompanied by two RM 81 LA 8-inch line array boxes and one RM 151 FSB low-pack line array box arranged in a ground stack configuration. The overall speaker setup delivered powerful and deep bass, which attracted the attention of many visitors.

For the product demo, ACR Rhyme brought 6 RM 126 LA boxes featuring a 3-way line array system configured in Tri-amp mode and powered by the Rhyme R4500 amplifier. For subwoofers, 6 RM 1283 SB boxes were arranged vertically and powered by Rhyme’s latest Class D amplifier, the D17000, which comes with 2 channels.
