SMEX SURABAYA 2024

Surabaya Music Expo (SMEX) 2024 was held once again from August 1–4 at Grand City Hall Surabaya. This event was attended by brands from Indonesia, Europe, and China, showcasing lighting, LED screens, pro audio, and amplifiers.
The event was divided into two areas: an indoor area used for exhibitions, and an outdoor area used for sound testing of Line Arrays and Subwoofers from each brand. In the outdoor area, Sinar Baja Electric showcased the latest Rhyme products: 6 units of the RM 226 LA and 8 units of the RM 1283 SB Mk-1. The RM 226 LA features a 3-way system composed of 2 pcs of 12in woofers, 4 pcs of 6in Array 5061 M Fab ACR Series, and 2 pcs of compression drivers. The RM 1283 SB Mk1 uses 2 pcs of 18in PA-113188 SW Fab, which are equipped with double magnets and double dampers.
After listening to the sound test, visitors could head to the indoor area to view other products showcased by each brand. Below is the list of speakers brought by ACR Rhyme:

Visitors to the ACR Rhyme booth showed great enthusiasm, especially because the products displayed were the latest releases from each brand. Many came straight to the booth after listening to the live sound demo of the RM 226 LA and RM 1283 SB Mk1. They were also curious about the RM 103 LA prototype, which still featured a raw wood texture, appearing strong and solid.
At the ACR section, visitors were eager to explore the newly displayed products. Many inquired about the prices of the upcoming models. The ACR team also held a giveaway event offering vouchers worth Rp 100,000, which could be used to purchase the newest ACR series at the Official Sinar Baja Electric Showroom in Surabaya.
