At the 7th Surabaya Music Expo (SMEX) 2016, held on September 8–11, 2016 at Grand City Convex Surabaya, CV Sinar Baja Electric once again enlivened one of the largest Pro Audio, Lighting, & Music expos in the country by showcasing its flagship Pro Audio products, RHYME Professional Audio and ACR Speaker – Fabulous Series.
At this event, RHYME Professional Audio also introduced for the first time the RM 212 MK IV. This new premium single 12” 2-way system speaker is designed for stereo karaoke or stage floor monitor applications. In addition to the passive version, an active version is also available using a Powersoft power module.
In addition to the new products, RHYME Professional Audio also showcased other flagship products: a full range of line array series from 15” to 8”, including RM156 LA, RM 126 LA, RM 10 LA MKIII, RM 811 LA, and flying sub RM 122FSB; 18” double subwoofers RM 18 LA & RM 128 SB, and single subwoofers RM 1121 SB & RM 1182 SB; the 10” 2-way RM 2110; and wall-mounted speaker Rhyme C-2. Meanwhile, ACR displayed the ACR Fabulous Series, introducing its newest types: the 6” 5061 N, a mid speaker with neodymium magnet and 50mm voice coil, and the 12” 75214, a woofer with neodymium magnet, 75mm coil, and USA technology cone paper. With relatively affordable prices compared to the product’s quality and performance, ACR Speaker’s product variants continue to reach a wider range of consumer markets.
In the Line Array demo area, RHYME Professional Audio showcased its RM 126 LA line array product and RM 18 LA MKII SE subwoofer. The Rhyme R1000 amplifier was used for the RM 126 LA and the R5200 for the RM 18 LA MKII SE subwoofer. The quality of these products is comparable to well-known international brands that also participated in the line array demo during SMEX 2016. The sound produced was clear, even reaching the eastern end of Grand City Mall Surabaya, approximately 300 meters from the speakers, which were hung at a height of only 6 meters.
