Review – Syawalan Sound System Exhibition – Jogja, May 27–28, 2023

In 2023, the Rental Sound System Community of D.I. Yogyakarta held a Sound System Exhibition with the theme "Syawalan." The event took place on May 27–28, 2023. This exhibition had been on hiatus for 3 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was finally held again in 2023 after thorough preparations. The sound system parade was held at the Sultan Agung Stadium field in Bantul.

The exhibition was enlivened by sponsors and rental companies from around Yogyakarta, East Java, West Java, and Central Java. There were around 30 sponsor booths and 22 product demo sponsors participating.

A competition for the highest SPL score was also held using a mandatory song provided by the organizers. Sponsors had the opportunity to demo their best speakers, competing closely with the rental participants.

Visitors were very enthusiastic about visiting the booths and attending product sound demos from each sponsor present. At the ACR booth, there were attractive promotions such as bonus merchandise with every purchase (t-shirts, hats, stickers, etc.) as well as auction sales. The event also featured the launch and introduction of the latest product from the ACR series: the Fabulous 113188 (double magnet).

Event & Bazaar

Visitors were very enthusiastic about coming to the booths and attending sound demos from each sponsor. On this occasion, ACR-RHYME appeared a bit differently by bringing 6 boxes of the Rhyme RM 81 LA line array, 2 boxes of the Rhyme flying sub RM 151 FSB, and for subwoofers, custom boxes RM 128 LH filled with 4 boxes of Fabulous 113186 (double 18in).
