Review – Sound System Exhibition – Tuban, June 17–18, 2023

In 2023, PSST Tuban held its annual sound system parade at Lapangan Alas Dowo, Tuban, from June 16 to 18. The event was also enlivened by other sponsors, such as SPL Audio. Besides the sound parade and demos, there were various competitions ranging from the miniature class to ‘gedeatur’. The competitions included several classes and categories, such as SPL measurement and live mixing (clarity). The competition song material, prepared by the committee, lasted about 4–5 minutes. A total of 40 rental teams participated in the competitions.

Event & Bazaar

Many visitors came on Sunday to visit both the ACR booth and other booths to see the products on display, including new items like the Fabulous 18-inch double magnet 113188 and the introduction of the new Desibel brand. Many visitors admired ACR and Rhyme products, appreciating the sound quality and the pleasant audio experience they provided.

At the PSST Tuban event, ACR-RHYME appeared a bit differently by not bringing their own subwoofer products. Instead, they collaborated with a well-known rental company from Jombang, La Morena. We brought custom boxes using the latest Fabulous product 113188 (double magnet). The rental company brought a total of 12 subwoofer boxes containing 18-inch 113188 and 18-inch 127187 drivers. For line arrays, they brought 10 boxes of the Rhyme RM 126 LA type. The amplifiers used were the Rhyme R4500 and R7000 models.
