Review – Sound System Exhibition by East Java Community (PSS Jatim) Exhibition-2

The Sound System Exhibition organized by the East Java-wide sound system community (PSSJ) in 2022 was held on March 26–27, 2022. This was the second event organized by PSSJ, taking place at the Main Market Yard of Puspa Agro, Sidoarjo. The purpose of this exhibition was to strengthen the bond among sound system enthusiasts and to welcome the month of Ramadan.

The event was supported by several well-known sound system sponsors and was limited to 10 sponsorships. Sponsors had the opportunity to participate in product demos and set up booths for sales. In addition to sponsor product demos, there were also various exciting sound system competitions, joined by around 30 participants (from rentals and communities). Competition categories included: installation assessment, mixing (personal and rental), glerrity (clarity), and wild race (SPL battle).

The visitors who attended were very enthusiastic and numerous, filling up the event area. Many visitors stopped by the ACR booth to view and receive complete information about ACR Series speakers. This event also introduced the newest type from the ACR Series, the latest Excellent model with a 5-inch voice coil, type 188127.

For the Rhyme product demo, a 3-way system line array RM 126 LA (1x 12-inch, 2x 6-inch, 3x tweeter) was used, totaling 6 boxes, along with eight 18-inch double subwoofer boxes (RM 1283), all powered by Rhyme Professional Audio amplifiers (R4500, R7000, and R5200). Additionally, the Rhyme Mini system with a single 8-inch (RM 81 LA) line array paired with a single 15-inch flying subwoofer (RM 151 FSB), and a double 18-inch subwoofer RM 128 MKIII was also featured.
