Review – "Cek Sound Rhyme" Event

CV. Sinar Baja Electric, as the manufacturer of RHYME speaker products, is usually active in participating in exhibitions or "clinics" held regularly throughout the year in various cities, especially across Java. However, due to the pandemic, exhibitions were still not permitted in order to avoid large crowds.

As an alternative, we invited several sound system communities and rental owners to have the opportunity to try out or demo Rhyme speakers directly at the CV. Sinar Baja Electric factory. This event was held under strict health protocols, with a limited number of participants and a well-organized schedule.

The Rhyme speakers demoed included the RM 103 LA line array (double 10” 2-way) with a total of 6 boxes, and RM 1283 SB subwoofers (18” double) with a total of 4 boxes. Additionally, the event served as the official launch and introduction of Rhyme's latest products: the RM 81 LA (Single 8” 2-way) line array and the RM 151 FSB (Single 15” Vented, Flying Subwoofer).

Participants were allowed to bring their own management/DSP units, mixers, and amplifiers/power units. This created a platform for participants to share knowledge and techniques for setting up line arrays based on the preferences of each region and community. Attendees were also given souvenirs as mementos from CV. Sinar Baja Electric and offered special prices on auctioned items, ranging from Rhyme speaker boxes to ACR, Legacy, and desiBel speaker drivers. At the end of the event, participants were invited to tour the factory to see the speaker driver production process, box manufacturing, and how the products are prepared for sale.
