This time, the ACR team invited four community groups: PSDS, PSJT, PSC, and Ngrambe, to visit the Sinar Baja Electric factory in Surabaya in September 2026. In addition to the factory tour, all participants enjoyed lunch and snacks, live performances by local artists, and door prizes that added to the excitement of the event.
The team also set up a booth showcasing ACR Speaker’s flagship and latest products, ranging from the 8 inch ARRAY 2050 Batik Edition and the 21 inch 127218 SW Fab double magnet to the Chrono Series, featuring 65 mm to 75 mm options. The booth also featured the latest neodymium-magnet drivers with concave dust caps, such as the 8 inch ARRAY 60086 W-N and the 12 inch 75128 W-N Fab. In addition to ACR Speaker products, the team showcased various Rhyme products, including the MP1 Mk1 and Sphere Series models such as the SP 21020 LA, RM 1182 SB, RM 81 LA, and RM 151 FSB. The booth attracted many visitors who were eager to explore the latest products.
The stage was also equipped with a Rhyme sound system to support performances by local artists. The line array setup consisted of four RM 126 LA Mk1 units on each side, while the subwoofer setup featured four RM 1284 SB units on each side in a cardioid configuration. The monitor system used four C215 A units, while the left and right sidefills featured the RM 225 M Mk4 and RM 1283 SB Mk1. The entire sound system was powered by Rhyme Pro Audio amplifiers.
After the factory tour, participants had the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session and gain free audio knowledge from Mr. Harryanto. “What happens when the voice coil gets bigger? The SPL becomes lower. What do you need to make it louder? You need more wattage,” Harryanto explained while discussing the differences between small and large voice coils.
“As I mentioned, the speaker and the power amplifier need to be properly matched,” he continued while discussing transformers.
Mr. Harryanto also advised all participants to match their amplifier power with the speakers they use. “So, what’s the key takeaway? Choose speakers that match your amplifier’s power capacity. If your amplifier delivers 1,600 watts, then speakers with a 4- to 4.5-inch voice coil are sufficient,” he explained.
The team also interviewed several participants who had been using ACR speakers for the longest time, dating back to the 1990s. “I’ve been using ACR products since the 1990s, and my experience has been very good. I hope Sinar Baja Electric continues to thrive,” said Mr. Pramudi, a member of PSJT, as he shared his testimonial.
The factory tour concluded with a live performance by local artists. All the community groups enjoyed the music and took part in the activities on the main stage. Sinar Baja Electric employees also joined the festivities after their working hours, adding to the lively atmosphere.
