ACR RHYME DESIBEL ATTRACTS VISITOR ENTHUSIASM AT PSDS

The Sound Parade Carnival Volume 8 organized by the Demak Sound System Association (PSDS) at the Candisari Village Field, Demak Regency, Central Java, was attended by various loudspeaker brands well known among sound system enthusiasts, ranging from local, Chinese, to American brands. Sinar Baja Electric, as one of the oldest local speaker brands, also showcased its leading brands: ACR, Rhyme, and Desibel.

The event, held on August 9–10, was joined by more than 20 participants from Demak and surrounding areas. Participants could take part in SPL and Clarity competitions. What made this parade different from most others was the sound carnival demo, allowing rental companies to demonstrate the sound systems that will later be used for Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day celebrations. Among the many participants, once again Sinar Baja Electric found several teams using ACR products, Indonesia’s proud loudspeaker brand.

“For the subwoofer box, we use the CLA box. The sound feels fuller and stronger,” said Ferry from Dokar Audio when explaining the speaker box used with the 18in PA-127187 SW Fab speaker. For the Line Array speakers, the type used was the 10in ARRAY 2560 M Fab. “The sound is punchier, thicker, and cleaner,” he added.

“What’s special about Fabulous is that even with low power it already sounds good, and with more power it’s even better,” said Mr. Salim from BSM Audio, one of the sound demo participants. He also used an amplifier product from Rhyme, the R26000-D, with 4 channels and 6500 Watts of power. “From the first time I got into sound, if it wasn’t using ACR Fabulous, I didn’t want it,” he continued. He also explained the sound produced by the 18in PA-113182 SW Fab paired with a double mini scoop box. “This is live sound, using a mini scoop box is special. You can really feel it—the bass hits right away, the lows are excellent,” he said.

In the demo area, Sinar Baja Electric showcased the RM 226 LA and RM 1284 SB powered by the R17000, R4500, and R7000 amplifiers, which drew admiration and interest from many visitors. With the support of Amir from La Morena, Sinar Baja Electric’s trusted soundman from Jombang, all visitors were immediately drawn to the Rhyme sound system when it was played. From young to old, everyone seemed to enjoy the sound produced by Sinar Baja Electric’s products.

During breaks from the sound demos and competitions, visitors were seen gathering around Sinar Baja Electric’s booth to learn more about the products showcased by ACR and Desibel. ACR presented tweeters up to 18in models from the Fabulous, Excellent, Deluxe, and Black Series. Double magnet models from the Fabulous line, such as the 18in PA-113188 SW Fab and 18in PA-127188 SW Fab, also drew attention from the visitors. For Desibel products, the lineup ranged from tweeters to best-selling models like the 15in 381006-Mk1 Desibel and 18in 451006-Mk1 Desibel.
